I am feeling better than i was, so now i just feel bad when i haven't eaten enough or when i get tired. Not as sandpaper-y, i can talk and am working again. My balance is still not 100%.

The total missed days of work= five. My boss was not happy at all and gave me the "we need to have a talk about your absences" speech.

I'm glad i still have a job because i really need the income. I don't have insurance so the 190$ came out of my own pockets. The previous amount could have been more but there is a group of medical providers that give up to 50% off if you pay in full before you leave the office instead of going through insurance. (thank you God)

If was funny when the doctor looked at my throat, made a face and said "Eeeah!" i felt vindicated. It was also fun to show work my doctor's note.
(No I am not faking! crazy work- for five days!? How dumb do you think I am? Sheesh!)
